The food was really good. I had flounder filet and calabash shrimp. Service was good too. Everyone at table said their food was nice. For the money it was really good. 5 people for $85 View was nice too. Loved the ducks and cats outside !

We have been going here for years excellent fried chicken it's cooked to order and worth the wait their seafood the fried flounder and shrimp are very good choices highly recommended I love their fresh coleslaw too

Just had a very delightful dinner at Lake Bowen FC. The fish was prepared perfectly and and the ambiance of the view can't be beat. Hubby enjoyed his salmon stew too. We will return!! Keep in mind that cash or check only.

Waitress was great. Food was hot. No seasoning at all. Fish bland. Very old building. Doesn't look like they've updated ever. Musty smell when you walk in. Cash only. View is beautiful on the lake. Could just use an upgrade.

This place has been a regular at least once a week!! The food is great and the service is exceptional! If you've never been there make sure to bring cash or a check. They do not accept cards of any kind.

First off when reviewing this restaurant you need to realize it's a " fish Camp". If you are expecting a high end Charleston seafood restaurant you will be disappointed. If you want a large portion of good food at a great price, and no frills, you will love it. The service was great too. Ambiance? Ha ha, what part of " fish camp" don't you understand? A family with kids will love it. A first date you are trying to impress will not like it. It is what it is.....but it's a 5 star is what it is. Can't wait to come back.

The service was great and efficient. I had catfish fillet plate which was excellent. I love the feel of the fish camp style with scenery of lake Bowen makes it peaceful and perfect place for family and friends to gather.
